The Departmental Enquiries Section, located at 3rd Floor (Wing-A) of the Administrative Block, came into existence in the year 1986. The main objective of the establishment of this section is to examine various complaints received from the employees of the University and others and to decide whether a prima facie case is established or not against the employee concerned. Basically, the Departmental Enquiries Section deals with the cases of suspension, charge sheet, appointment of Inquiry Officer / Committee & Presenting Officer, to provide secretarial assistance to the Inquiry Officer / Committee during the course of conduct of enquiries, inflicting minor/major penalty on erring official(s) and communication of final orders. Further, the Departmental Enquiries Section provides clearance report regarding disciplinary proceeding against the concerned employee, if any, on the files / papers received from the Teaching Section, Non-Teaching Section, Service Book & Pension Section and General Section in connection with promotion, confirmation, retirement, no objection certificate for Indian Passport etc.
